Jo-Jo Rabbit
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Jo-Jo Rabbit is by far the one of the best movies that showed the German side of World War II. Schindler’s List is typically hailed as that movie but not really, Schindler’s List is about concentration camps, business man, and ultimately the sad “Final Solution” where he makes a list to buy all the Jews from Auschwitz, it shows the horror of Nazi Germany, not the common people. Jo-Jo Rabbit shows how the common people of Germany lived there life in the authoritarian Nazi government. One of the points are children, the movie is centered Jo-Jo (I don’t remember his actual name) a member of the Hitler Youth, basically boy and girl scouts but Nazi. Hitler Youth was in all seriousness a brain washing program for kids to be Nazis. Kids were raised to believe that this ideology was great, and basically destiny. In the movie Germany started to feel pressure from America joining the war, you can see this as they were training the children for combat, to fight in a war, which sadly was something that actually happened. Jo-Jo maybe a satirical, but its satirical but it was showing us how ridiculous Nazi Germany, coming up with blatant lies, training children for war, and how okay most citizens were with this ridiculous things.
