Let me explain myself
When the movie Sonic the Hedgehog (based on the beloved game franchise which in recent years has fallen from glory) was announced with poster art, people cringed as they got a very brief view on how he would look. Then the trailer came out and by god it was worse, especially with its creepy human like teeth. This led to outrage and a general agreement to boycott the movie by the fans. But for once a company actually listened to people complaining about a movie, the director, Jeff Fowler tweeted this:
https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsThank you for the support. And the criticism. The message is loud and clear… you aren't happy with the design & you want changes. It's going to happen. Everyone at Paramount & Sega are fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be… #sonicmovie #gottafixfast ๐งโ๏ธ

And 194 days later they sent this trailer that shocked the internet
A considerable update to the design that is more faithful to the original design that started making fans of the series praise this movie now. But there are people that still refuse to see because it seems like a cash grab to them. I feel like that people should see the movie, Paramount did a incredible thing by listening. If consumers ever have a hope to make a impact on how companies produce movies this would be a moment to seize. Think about it, if a film that changed after completion gets abunch of people to go see it other studios will follow by example.
